The recruitment is intended for individuals who have represented India or their state in recognized competitions. Eligible applicants must have passed at least Class 12th and must not be older than 40 years. Selected candidates will be engaged for one year, with renewal subject to performance and funding. Eligibility and Responsibilities

Candidates must have passed Class 12th and be below 40 years of age. Individuals with experience representing the nation or their state in sporting events will be given preference. Selected athletes will be responsible for coaching at least 30 trainees, preparing performance plans, and conducting regular assessments. Responsibilities also include maintaining training records and collaborating with coaches and sports professionals to enhance performance.

  • Preference will be given to athletes who represented India internationally.
  • Senior National medalists or Khelo India Games participants will be prioritized.
  • Participation in AIU National Championships will also be considered.
  • Those who represented their state in senior national-level competitions are eligible.

Roles and Expectations

The selected candidates will design training schedules and guide young athletes in their respective disciplines. They will also be expected to maintain discipline, ensure safety, and uphold high ethical standards. Regular reporting to the Directorate will be mandatory. The role requires ongoing coordination with physiotherapists, coaches, and support teams for overall athlete development.

Contract Terms and Conditions

No extra benefits such as transport, accommodation, or medical support will be provided. Leave is limited to 2.5 days per month and is non-transferable. The Directorate reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any point due to unsatisfactory performance or policy violations.

  • TA/DA will not be paid for interviews or joining formalities.
  • Shortlisting will be based on eligibility and merit.
  • Legal jurisdiction lies with Sri Vijaya Puram only.
  • Waitlisted candidates may be considered within one year of notification.
