Young Professionals are engaged to support projects that strengthen standards, conformity assessment, and consumer protection. Typical tasks include:

• Assisting technical departments in compiling inputs for formulation, revision, and review of Indian Standards.
• Collecting and analysing data from industry, laboratories, and consumer feedback to inform standards work and quality initiatives.
• Supporting implementation of quality control measures, including awareness on Quality Control Orders and product certification requirements.
• Coordinating with internal teams, test laboratories, and stakeholder bodies for meetings, drafts, and minutes.
• Preparing briefs, dashboards, and status reports for monitoring project timelines and outcomes.
• Helping design surveys, outreach material, and training content for manufacturers, start-ups, and consumer groups.
• Undertaking field visits or sample checks as directed, and assisting in documentation for audits and inspections.
• Maintaining records, MIS, and official correspondence with accuracy and adherence to procedures.

Core competencies that add value in this role include clarity in writing, spreadsheet skills, presentation ability, and familiarity with quality terminology, standards life-cycle, and basic project management methods.

• Identity proof, recent passport-size photograph, and signature image in the prescribed format.
• Degree/Provisional certificates and mark sheets for B.Sc or MBA/PGDM.
• Category, EWS, or PwD certificates (if applicable) in the required format.
• Experience certificates and NOC from employer (if currently employed in government/public sector where applicable).

• Fill accurate personal, education, and (if any) experience details matching certificates.
• Upload documents in the specified file types and sizes.
• Review entries carefully and submit. Since no fee is required, save and print the final confirmation page for records.

• Ensure age is within the limit on the relevant cut-off date.
• Verify that the degree and institution are recognised; include specialisation where required.
• Use a valid email address and mobile number for correspondence and OTP verification.
• Double-check spelling of name, parents’ names, date of birth, and category details.

• All information must match the original documents presented during verification.
• Engagement may be terminated for false information, misconduct, or non-performance, as per terms.
