AIIMS Guwahati Senior Resident (Non-Academic) Recruitment 2025 – Key Details

Qualification Requirements:

Candidates must possess a Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in a relevant field under the Residency Scheme. For Dentistry, an MDS from a recognized institute is required. All terms of the Residency Scheme are applicable.

For Non-Medical Disciplines: Applicants must hold the following qualifications:
  • Anatomy: M.Sc. and PhD in Human Anatomy
  • Physiology: M.Sc. and PhD in Medical Physiology / Physiology
  • Biochemistry: M.Sc. and PhD in Medical Biochemistry / Biochemistry
  • Microbiology: M.Sc. and PhD in Medical Microbiology / Microbiology
These qualifications ensure candidates have academic depth and practical exposure required for senior residency in a teaching hospital environment.

Salary Structure:

The pay is as per Level 11 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Pre-revised scale: Rs. 15,600/- + Rs. 6,600/- Grade Pay, with entry pay fixed at Rs. 67,700/- per month. In addition, medical candidates will be eligible for NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance). Other allowances such as DA, HRA, and transport benefits will be provided as per institutional policies.
