The IOCL Pipelines Division Recruitment 2026 is conducted to engage apprentices across Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern, and South Eastern Pipeline regions. Candidates must possess the required educational qualifications in the relevant trade and satisfy age conditions as on the cut-off date. Selection is strictly merit-based, determined by marks obtained in the essential qualification. No written examination or interview is conducted for this recruitment process.

Technician Apprentice Mechanical Engineering Qualification: Three-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized institute. Lateral entry diploma candidates are eligible. Vacancies included within total 394 posts.
Technician Apprentice Electrical Engineering Qualification: Three-year full-time Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institute. Lateral entry candidates are eligible.
Technician Apprentice Telecommunication & Instrumentation Qualification: Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Communication, or related disciplines from a recognized institute as a regular full-time course.
Trade Apprentice Assistant – Human Resource Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Vacancies distributed region-wise.
Trade Apprentice Accountant Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized university.
Trade Apprentice Data Entry Operator (Fresher) Qualification: Minimum 12th pass and not holding a graduate degree. Candidates must meet age and experience conditions.
Trade Apprentice Domestic Data Entry Operator Qualification: 12th pass with a valid skill certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator issued by a recognized authority.
Total Vacancies: 394 apprenticeship positions distributed across Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern, and South Eastern Pipeline regions of Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Age Limit: Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 24 years as on 31 January 2026. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwBD candidates as per Government norms.
Stipend: Monthly stipend is payable as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, including amendments. No additional benefits such as accommodation, medical facilities, or allowances are admissible.
Training Duration: The apprenticeship training period is 12 months from the date of engagement.
Selection Process: Selection is based purely on merit prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification. In case of a tie, preference is given to older candidates. No written test or interview is conducted.
General Conditions: Candidates with one year or more job experience after qualification or those who completed qualification more than five years ago are not eligible. Candidates possessing or pursuing higher professional qualifications are also not eligible for engagement.
