Detailed Information

The recruitment aims to fill technical posts related to dairy development and field supervision under the Animal Husbandry and Dairy framework of Bihar. The posts carry Level-6 pay under the revised pay structure and require specialized academic qualifications in Dairy Technology or Dairy Husbandry. Selection will be based on a computer-based written examination and marks awarded for relevant contractual service, followed by document verification. Candidates must ensure that all eligibility conditions are satisfied on or before the closing date of application submission.

Pay Band ₹9,300–34,800 with Grade Pay ₹4,200 (Level-6, re-revised structure) plus admissible allowances.
Category-wise Distribution Vacancies distributed among Unreserved, EBC, SC, Extremely Backward Class, Backward Class Women, Divyang categories, and additional unreserved positions as notified. Horizontal reservation for Bihar domicile women applies as per policy. Unreserved: 30 + additional posts, EBC: 07, SC: 08, Extremely Backward Class: 10, Backward Class Women: 11, Backward Class Female: 02, Divyang: 02, others as per notification.
Age Limit Minimum 21 years and maximum 37 years for General (Male) as on 01 August 2026. Relaxation: General Female/BC/EBC up to 40 years, SC/ST up to 42 years, PwD additional 10 years, other relaxations as per Government norms. Only one applicable age relaxation condition will be granted as per rules. Proof of age is mandatory during verification.
Selection Process Computer Based Test carrying 75 marks and evaluation of contractual experience carrying 25 marks. Written test consists of 100 objective questions with negative marking of 0.25 per incorrect answer. Merit list prepared out of total 100 marks followed by document verification. Minimum qualifying percentage varies by category.
Examination Pattern Objective type questions in Hindi and English. Duration: 2 hours. One mark awarded per correct answer. Normalization applied if examination is conducted in multiple shifts. Qualifying marks: General 40%, BC/EBC 36.5%, Extremely Backward 34%, SC/ST/Women/Divyang 32%.
Employment Nature Regular full-time appointment under Bihar Technical Service Commission service conditions. Includes pay progression, allowances, and benefits as per state government rules.
