Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification: 10th or 12th Pass. Must be an Indian citizen with a good moral character and physically fit. Should have a strong interest in voluntary social service without expecting monetary benefit. Eligible profiles include retired teachers, ex-government servants, senior citizens, students, NGO members, SHG or JEEVIKA members, Anganwadi workers, etc. Advocates are not eligible to apply.
Nature of Engagement
This is not a government job. It is a purely voluntary role to serve vulnerable and marginalized communities. Volunteers act as a bridge between citizens and the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), conducting awareness camps, assisting victims, and promoting access to justice.
Honorarium Details
₹500/- per day is payable only on days when a volunteer is assigned specific legal aid duties. This includes participating in awareness camps, helping victims reach DLSA or ADR centers, or any other assigned task.

Selection & Representation

Key Responsibilities
Create legal awareness in the community. Act as an interface between the public and DLSA for legal assistance. Support the legal aid center or DLSA office with assigned responsibilities. Participate in village-level awareness drives and legal aid initiatives.
