Position details and role

This appointment is for Research Associate I (RA-I) to work on “Development of Thermally Controlled Modules of Optronic Payloads for Stratospheric Operation.” The role is research-centric and requires hands-on work in experimental and/or computational heat-transfer, design and fabrication of test rigs, and contribution to project milestones. Essential qualifications & experience
  • Ph.D. in Mechanical, Chemical or equivalent with prior research experience and evidence of quality journal publications, patents or technology development; or
  • M.Tech. in Mechanical, Thermal, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Chemical or equivalent with at least 3 years’ relevant experience and demonstrated research output.

Desired skills and expertise
  • Computational and experimental heat-transfer experience.
  • Design and fabrication of experimental test rigs and setups.

In addition, at least one (preferably two) recommendation letters must be emailed directly by referees to the same PI/Co-PI addresses before the deadline.
