WCDC Bihar Senior Consultant Recruitment 2025 – Key Information

Position Objective
The consultant will support WCDC’s Gender Resource Centre in communication and networking tasks.
Main Responsibilities
  • Create IEC materials, training manuals, reference content.
  • Design and print both online and offline materials (e.g., brochures, leaflets, web content).
  • Manage and update social and digital media platforms focused on gender messaging.
  • Support awareness campaigns through media content and program planning.
  • Coordinate with communication agencies and prepare media outputs like reports and press releases.
  • Document meeting notes and internal communications.
  • Work with ministries, state departments, NGOs, and other groups on social empowerment topics.
  • Help plan public service campaigns and media strategies.
  • Handle tasks assigned by CMD, MD, Director, or Administrative Officer.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a related role, with at least 3 years in government projects.
  • Postgraduate degree in Mass Communication, Communication, Linguistics, or Social Sciences (Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Rural Development).
  • Skilled in networking and digital communication content creation.
  • Experience in developing IEC material, training content, and impact assessment.
  • Familiarity with working with media, NGOs, and donor agencies.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi.
Desirable Proficiency
  • 5+ years of experience in module and IEC content development (both print and digital).
  • Comfortable using computer tools including spreadsheets and presentation software.
  • Understanding of women’s rights, government schemes, and related issues.
  • Strong skills in public communication, stakeholder engagement, and info-sharing.
