Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be retired police officers or officials from the Central Police Organisations or State Police. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in any of the following: Investigation of criminal cases Prosecution-related duties Trial court duties
Remuneration Details
For CCS (Pension) Rule retirees: Fixed monthly amount = Last Pay Drawn – Basic Pension (without commutation). For NPS retirees: Fixed monthly amount = Last Pay Drawn – 30% of Last Basic Pay (as per DoPT OM dated 18.10.2023). No annual increment or dearness allowance will be granted during the contract period.
Contract Terms
The remuneration is fixed for the entire contract duration and will not be revised. Consultants will serve in their designated role to support the CBI in legal and court-related work. Engagement will be on a contractual basis and subject to CBI guidelines.
