General Eligibility
  • Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • No criminal record.
  • Must be physically fit and medically certified for coaching duties.
  • Age: Above 21 years as of 01.04.2025.
Essential Qualifications
Boxing & Swimming Coach
  • Graduate degree from a recognized university.
  • Coaching qualification:
    • One Year Diploma in Coaching in the respective sport, OR
    • Participation in at least one of the following: Olympic Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games.
  • Desirable: Minimum two years of coaching experience in relevant sports.
Shooting Coach
  • Graduate degree from a recognized university.
  • Coaching qualification:
    • One Year Diploma in Coaching in Shooting, OR
    • Participation in one of: Olympic Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cup.
  • Desirable: Minimum two years coaching experience in shooting or relevant sports.
Terms and Conditions
  • Appointments are purely contractual, initially for 89 days, subject to extension based on performance.
  • No claim for regular appointment after contract expiry.
  • Duty hours are flexible and assigned by the Directorate of Sports.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview after screening process.
  • Director may deploy coaches to any affiliated college as needed.
  • All terms as per University rules for contractual employees.
