Eligibility Conditions
  • Must be retired from the same post or up to three levels higher.
  • Preference given to those who retired from the exact same Pay Level.
  • Should not have retired under LARSGESS or any safety-related retirement scheme.
  • Maximum age: 65 years. Preference for those aged 64 or below.

Remuneration
  • Fixed monthly pay = Last drawn pay - Basic pension.
  • No Dearness Allowance, HRA, or annual increments.
  • Fixed transport allowance allowed for commuting; remains unchanged during the contract.
  • TA/DA allowed for official tours, as per last entitlement.

Contract Terms
  • Initial contract: 1 year, extendable as needed.
  • No appointment beyond 14-10-2026.
  • Termination upon joining of new selected candidates from RRBs.

Selection Process
  • A 3-member committee (Sr.DPO, Sr.DFM, Sr.DEN) will assess suitability.
  • Must be free from disciplinary or vigilance cases.
  • Experience and fitness for duties will be considered before selection.

Leave and Responsibilities
  • 1.5 days paid leave per completed month of service.
  • Leave can't be carried forward to next calendar year.
  • Re-engaged staff will not hold in-charge roles or issue safety certificates.
  • They can suggest improvements but not handle financial or disciplinary powers.
