Selection Process Priority is given to AIIMS, New Delhi MBBS graduates based on aggregate marks in professional examinations. Remaining posts are allocated to other candidates according to INI-CET PG Entrance Examination results or MBBS aggregate percentage. Counselling is conducted strictly in merit order with subject choice exercised based on vacancy availability. Reserved category and PWD candidates receive allocations as per applicable rules.
Reservation Reservation for OBC, SC, ST, EWS is as per Central Government norms. Four percent of posts are reserved for PWD candidates. Certificates must be valid for the relevant financial year and in the prescribed format. Candidates with physical disabilities are eligible based on medical certification in line with the PWD Act 2016.
Leave Rules Junior Residents are entitled to 2½ days of leave per completed month. Continuous leave beyond five days requires approval, and absence without prior permission exceeding seven days may result in termination. Commuted leave of 5 days is permissible over the six-month tenure.
Resignation Policy Junior Residents cannot resign before three months of joining. A one-month notice or pay adjustment is required for early resignation. No experience certificate is issued if residency is less than three months. Specific notice periods apply for resignations in June or December sessions.
How to Apply Candidates must register and submit their applications through the AIIMS online portal www.aiimsexams.ac.in by 19 December 2025.
