IRCON Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 26 Posts

Indian Railway Construction International (IRCON) has released 26 vacancies for Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices across Civil, Electrical, and S&T disciplines. Eligible candidates with B.Tech/B.E or Diploma can apply online from 28 January 2026 to 10 February 2026. Selection will be based on merit of educational qualifications, followed by document verification and medical fitness. Apprentices will be posted at IRCON projects in states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Assam, and West Bengal, for a one-year training program with a monthly stipend.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduate or Diploma in relevant Engineering streams (Civil, Electrical, S&T).
Experience: Fresh candidates only; no prior apprenticeship or more than 1 year of work experience allowed.
Age Limit: 18–30 years as on 01/01/2026; SC/ST: +5 years, OBC-NCL: +3 years (if reserved).

Vacancy Details

Graduate Apprentices (17 Posts): Civil – 10, Electrical – 4, S&T – 3.
Technician Apprentices (9 Posts): Civil – 6, Electrical – 2, S&T – 1.
Reservation as per SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS categories.

Selection Process

1. Merit-based shortlisting according to marks obtained in qualifying education
2. Document Verification of original certificates
3. Medical Fitness certification before joining
4. No interview will be conducted

Stipend & Training

Graduate Apprentices: ₹10,000/month (DBT ₹4,500 included)
Technician Apprentices: ₹8,500/month (DBT ₹4,000 included)
Training Duration: 1 year (no extension). Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment with IRCON.

1. Register on www.mhrdnats.gov.in as “Student” to obtain a unique registration number
2. Visit IRCON official website → HR & Career → Career @ IRCON → Apprentices under Act 1961
3. Login/Create account using Email ID and Mobile Number
4. Fill application form with accurate details and upload required documents (10th certificate, mark sheets, degree/diploma certificate, caste/EWS certificate if applicable, identity proof, photo, signature)
5. Preview and submit the online application
6. Print the submitted form, sign at the bottom right corner, and send along with self-attested photocopies of all uploaded documents to:

• Percentage must be mentioned as per consolidated marksheet without rounding
• CGPA/OGPA conversion: 6/10 considered as 60% if university doesn’t provide conversion

• Both online submission and hard copy must be completed within deadlines
• Vacant seats in a trade/discipline may be diverted to other trades
