The Ministry of Ayush has announced recruitment for six Young Professional positions on a contractual basis. Selected candidates will provide high-quality professional inputs in AYUSH systems, public health, finance, skill development, IT, and related domains. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree, B.Tech, MBA, or equivalent, and demonstrate professional achievements, research experience, and strong communication skills. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Essential – Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject or technical qualifications such as B.Tech / MBA or equivalent. Desirable – Masters / M.Phil / Ph.D / MD with research experience, published papers, and relevant work experience.
• Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as on 01 July 2026; relaxation possible in exceptional cases with Secretary (Ayush) approval.
• Skills & Attributes: Proficiency in English/Hindi writing, ICT/computer skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and proven academic or professional achievements.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on merit and requirements of various divisions of the Ministry. Shortlisted applications will be sent to concerned divisions, and final selection will be decided by a Screening Committee and the Performance Appraisal Board chaired by the Joint Secretary (Admn.). The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.

1. Download the application format (Annexure-II) provided with the official notification.
2. Fill the application form with personal, educational, and professional details.
3. Prepare a CV and attach self-attested copies of supporting documents.
4. Place the application, CV, and documents in an envelope.
5. Superscribe the envelope with: “Application for the assignment of Young Professional in Ministry of Ayush”.
6. Send or submit the application to:
   Establishment-II Section, Ministry of Ayush, Ayush Bhawan, GPO Complex, INA, New Delhi – 110023.
7. Ensure the application reaches the above address by 08 February 2026, 5:30 PM.

Instructions & Terms

• Engagement is purely contractual and fee-based; it does not constitute regular employment.
• Initial contract: 1 year, extendable based on performance and functional requirements.
• Young Professionals are not entitled to DA, transport, residential accommodation, CGHS, medical reimbursement, or other allowances.
• Work location: Ministry of Ayush offices at Ayush Bhawan, GPO Complex, INA, New Delhi or Office Block 3, NBCC Building, East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi.
• Working hours: Normal office hours; may include weekends, holidays, or extended hours; attendance via AEBAS required.
• Leave entitlement: 12 days per year; un-availed leave cannot be encashed or carried forward.
• Confidentiality: Young Professionals must maintain secrecy of information, sign non-disclosure agreements; all data and IPR remain with Ministry.
• No claims for regular employment or benefits; engagement subject to police verification and exceptional relaxation only with Secretary (Ayush) approval.

Salary & Benefits

• Consolidated monthly remuneration: Rs. 40,000/-
• Annual increase: Up to 5% subject to satisfactory performance
• No additional benefits such as DA, transport, residential facility, CGHS, or medical reimbursement are provided
