Educational Qualification Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science from a recognized university/institute.
Eligibility Criteria & Experience
  • Retired officials from Ministry of Railways / Railway PSUs / Metro Railways.
  • Pay Scale Eligibility:
    • CDA: Rs. 15600–39100 (GP7600) [Level-12] to Rs. 9300–34800 (GP-4200) [Level-6]
    • IDA: Rs. 80000–220000 (E-5) to Rs. 40000–140000 (E-1) and Rs. 40000–125000 (NE-4)
  • Minimum 12 years of combined experience in train operation, crew supervision, instruction, or simulator-based training. Should have sound understanding of Indian Railway/Metro rules and locomotive troubleshooting.
  • Desirable: Experience in simulator training for loco pilots/train operators.
Mode of Selection Personal interaction with presentation on past roles and relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop simulator-based training scenarios.
  • Conduct training programs at HSRTI.
  • Create training modules and materials.
  • Deliver classroom sessions at HSRTI.
  • Assist Principal/HSRTI in capacity building.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.
