Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Arts (BA), Science (BSc), Commerce (BCom) or equivalent from a recognized university. Certificates must be possessed on or before 26.02.2026; improvements after closing date not considered.
Physical Standards (DSP only): Male – Height 5’7”, Chest 33” (34½” with expansion); Female – Height 5’2”.
Age Limit: 18–42 years (except DSP 18–27); age relaxation as per Haryana Govt. rules (up to 52 years for reserved/eligible categories).

Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Exam: Objective type, 2 papers (General Studies & Civil Services Aptitude), merit for Paper-I, Paper-II qualifying only.
  2. Main Written Exam: 6 conventional papers (English, Hindi, General Studies I–IV), 3 hours each; minimum 45% aggregate (35% for PwBD), English/Hindi minimum 33%.
  3. Personality Test/Viva-voce: 75 marks, assessing suitability for public service career, leadership, integrity, judgment, and social traits.
  4. Final Merit: Based on total marks (Main Written + Personality Test). Tie-break: higher Main marks, then older age.

  1. Registration: Visit HPSC website, register with Mobile & Aadhaar, create login ID and password.
  2. Fill Application Form: Select post preference, enter personal details, educational qualifications, experience, Aadhaar; upload required documents.
  3. Fee Payment: Online through Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card; deadline 26.02.2026 05:00 PM.
  4. Final Submission: Upload signed copy, take printout, keep hard copy for interview/document verification.
