Preparation Tips

JIPMAT 2025 Preparation Tips for IIM IPM Aspirants

Securing a good score in the JIPMAT exam requires focus, consistent effort, and a smart preparation strategy. Below are useful tips for future aspirants:

  • Understand the Exam Pattern: JIPMAT consists of three sections—Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. Learn the marks distribution and time allocation for each section.
  • Master Class 10 & 12 Concepts: Quantitative Aptitude and reasoning questions are based largely on high school-level concepts. Strong basics will improve both speed and accuracy.
  • Daily Practice: Solve 20–30 MCQs from each section regularly. Use mock tests and previous year question papers to build exam temperament.
  • Time Management: During practice, set strict timers. Learn to switch sections without getting stuck. Speed is as important as accuracy.
  • Read Daily: Enhance verbal ability and comprehension skills by reading newspapers, editorials, and articles. Practice vocabulary and grammar consistently.

Tip: Start preparation at least 4–6 months in advance to avoid last-minute pressure and to complete multiple revision rounds before the exam.
