Eligibility Criteria

Salary Structure

  • Basic Pay: ₹18,000 per month
  • Pay Scale: ₹5,200 – ₹20,200 + Grade Pay ₹1,800
  • Gross Salary: ₹23,000 – ₹26,000 approx.
  • In-Hand Salary: ₹16,915 – ₹20,245 after deductions

SSC MTS and Havaldar 2025: Scheme of Examination

1. Selection Process Overview

The selection process differs based on the post:

  • MTS: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
  • Havaldar: Computer Based Examination (CBE) + Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST)

2. Computer Based Examination (CBE)

  • Conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages
  • No provision for re-evaluation or re-checking
  • Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions
  • Divided into two sessions on the same day

Note: No maps, graphs, diagrams or statistics will be used for candidates with 40% or more visual disability.

4. PET / PST for Havaldar Post

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Pregnant Female Candidates: Temporarily unfit if pregnancy is 12 weeks or more. Re-examined after 6 weeks post-confinement with fitness certificate.
