Eligibility

Only unmarried male and female candidates born between 01st January 2007 and 01st January 2010 are eligible. Age eligibility is strictly enforced to align with national defense training standards.

Educational Qualification:

Army Wing (NDA): 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern or equivalent from a recognized board.
Air Force, Naval Wings (NDA) & 10+2 Cadet Entry (Naval Academy): 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized board.

These qualifications ensure academic readiness for the technical and physical challenges of defense service training.

Stipend During Training:
₹56,100/- per month during the training period at defense academies.

Paper-I: Mathematics Syllabus
Algebra: Sets, complex numbers, binomial theorem, logarithms, etc. Matrices & Determinants: Operations, properties, applications. Trigonometry: Identities, inverse functions, applications. Analytical Geometry: Lines, circles, conic sections, 3D geometry. Calculus: Differentiation, applications, maxima/minima. Integral Calculus & Differential Equations: Area under curves, basic DEs. Vector Algebra: Dot/cross product, physical applications. Statistics & Probability: Mean, SD, regression, binomial distribution.
Paper-II: General Ability Test Syllabus
Part A English (200 Marks)	Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, cohesion in extended text.
Part B General Knowledge (400 Marks)	Physics: Motion, energy, light, magnetism, electricity. Chemistry: Elements, reactions, acids, bases, compounds. Note: Section-wise weightage in Part B is: Physics (25%), Chemistry (15%), Gen. Science (10%), History (20%), Geography (20%), Current Events (10%).
SSB Interview Process
Stage I: Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) and Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT). Stage II: Interview, Group Testing Officer tasks, Psychology tests, and Conference. Assessment: Based on Officer-Like Qualities assessed by IO, GTO, and Psychologist holistically.
