Detailed Information

This recruitment is for a research project titled “Process development for high-yield isoprene production using modified yeast system for industrial & bioenergy applications.” The position offers a fixed emolument along with HRA and requires candidates to have relevant qualifications in the fields of biochemical engineering, biotechnology, microbiology, and related disciplines. The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview.

Educational Qualification & Experience

Essential: First class in M.Tech in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Bioprocess Engineering/Technology, Chemical Engineering/Technology, Industrial Microbiology OR M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Food Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetic Science/Engineering, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, Environmental Technology with GATE/NET or equivalent national-level qualification.

Desirable: Research interest in biofuel production with expertise in microbial cultivation. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, gene cloning, bioreactor operation, gas chromatography analysis, and bioprocess scale-up.
Age Limit
Maximum 28 years. Age relaxation applicable for Female, SC, ST, OBC, and Physically Handicapped candidates as per government norms.
Salary
Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA as per project norms.
