Detailed Information
The DRDO VRDE internships are intended for meritorious students with strong academic records. Candidates must be in the 7th or 8th semester of B.Tech/B.E or the 1st or 2nd year of M.Tech from recognized Indian institutions. Stipend and Duration
The internship is for six months, with a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000 for Electrical and Automobile branches. Mechanical and related branches receive a stipend in two installments of Rs. 15,000 each. Payment is contingent on satisfactory attendance and performance, including project work and report submission.
Facilities and Guidelines
No boarding or lodging will be provided. Interns can access subsidized lunch, tea, and snacks at the VRDE canteen. Successful interns will receive a certificate of completion after evaluation of project work and adherence to attendance requirements. Interns failing to meet the minimum attendance or leaving early will not receive the stipend or certificate.
